Mel is a lovely lady and working together she has created a garden with all the elements I Iike, I now have different themes, a wildlife pond,a rockery, a Japanese theme corner.

We contacted three garden designers to provide plans for the bare garden plot of our new build home near Scarborough. Two visited us and while both were very professional and approachable, we chose Mel because she showed us examples of her previous designs on her laptop and she charges by the hour rather than simply using a percentage of the total build cost or a fixed fee. We were closely consulted throughout the design process and Mel's final design corresponded perfectly to our wishes. The video and plans with details of materials and construction work gave a very clear impression of how the completed garden would look. The final invoice arrived at just a third of the other estimate, which was a very pleasant surprise! We have no hesitation in recommending Mel to others.

Firstly Mel is a delightful lady, very personable and showed a great interest in what I wanted for my garden. My daughter commissioned a consultation for me for my birthday and for me get advice on how to tackle the garden in my new home. Mel is incredibly knowledgeable of the the plants and gave me great advice on how to lay-out my garden. Mel did a great job of transforming our dreary front garden into a lovely Mediterranean style garden. She is very knowledgeable with what plants suited the area we are extremely happy with the end result, we would highly recommend using Mel for your garden makeover.
